CONTEST WINNER #5 - Heather!

Heather won a $20 gift certificate to Cowfish Cafe & Dance Club.

 Cowfish Dance Club Eugene Winner

Heather's most embarrassing moment ever?

"While working in cosmetics at the fragrance counter for Macy's, I was helping a gentleman pick out a perfume for his wife/girlfriend/secret lover... who knows. He looks at me straight in the eyes and says "I don't know you very well but I think I know you well enough to tell you that your shirt is unbuttoned."

I look down... and, to my horror, my boobs are literally hanging out!

Needless to say..... that was the last time I ever wore a button-up shirt to work.

(Note: I did get the sale though. hahahaha)"

We're glad you got the sale, Heather! Wardrobe malfunction or not. hahaha

Heather was thrilled to win. After she received her prize, she had this to say:

Yay!!! I won a prize from What's Up Eugene!!! I get to enjoy this gift certificate at Cowfish with my 22 year old daughter and have a well deserved girls night out!
Thank you What's Up Eugene and Cowfish for making my day!

In turn, I will be giving back to my community.

I am starting a clothing drive for teens in foster care. I once was a teen that was removed from my home because of abuse. Luckily, I was placed in the loving care of my grandparents. I know firsthand the struggles that come with not having a traditional family at an age where you are also trying to find your own identity.

How cool would it be to have a free shopping spree on some new/gently used clothing, shoes and accessories!? This is still in the works, but keep an eye out in the near future for Lucille's Closet, a clothing drive for foster teens! ♥️

Thank you, Heather, not only for sharing your hilarious story, but your dream to help and care for others locally. Funny AND inspiring people like you make our local community a better place!

CONTEST WINNER #6 - HANNAH!

Hannah won a $25 gift certificate to Wetlands Brew Pub & Sports Bar in Eugene.

 Cowfish Dance Club Eugene Winner

Hannah's most embarrassing moment ever?

"Throwing up on my boyfriend, on our first date."

Of course, we wanted more details...

"My current boyfriend and I had our first real date after casually hanging out a few times and he took me to this cool restaurant in Portland, Or. We had a nice evening of dinner, deserts, and drinks, and on the way home I was trying to “DJ” while he was driving, but get super carsick when I’m not the one driving. I ended up getting so sick that while I’m frantically looking for a bag in my car to get sick into... I get sick right into my lap and it splashed all over his hand and arm while he’s driving. We are still dating to this day and stay extra careful while taking road trips :) "

Haha! Thanks, Hannah. We hope you enjoy your gift certifcate... and maybe you should drive? .

CONTEST WINNER #7 - HEIDI!

Heidi won a $25 gift certificate to Mulligan's Irish Pub in Eugene.

 Cowfish Dance Club Eugene Winner

Heidi's most embarrassing moment ever?

"In 3rd grade, we were at recess.

My mom had us wear Little House on the Prairie dresses. A friend and I were on the teeter totters when the bell rang for us to go back to class. I was elevated in the air and I went to jump off, which I did all the time. The skirt of my dress got wrapped around the seat and I was literally just hanging there. My friend just stared at me while I'm kind swaying, facing the ground in a sad imitation of superman, flashing the whole yard my underwear. My friend didn't know what to do so I stayed that way until the teacher came over and had my friend slowly get off, which lowered me back to ground with the shreds of my dignity. Hey, whole elementary school, check out my undies!"

Thanks, Heidi. Make sure you wear clean britches for your big night out!

CONTEST WINNER #8 - ROSE!

Rose won a $25 gift certificate to Centennial Steakhouse in Springfield.

 Cowfish Dance Club Eugene Winner

Rose's most embarrassing moment ever?

"Two weeks before I was going to start high school, I was playing a tag game in the backyard with my brother and a bunch of his friends. I was a little bit of a chunky- monkey back then. (Ok, maybe a little bit more than that. I was pretty fluffy.) Anyways, our back deck has a set of stairs up to the 2nd grassy, level. One board on our bottom deck was loose and we were told to be careful of it.

During this game of tag, I forgot about this loose wooden board. I jumped off the 2nd step of the stairs and landed directly on the loose floor board. The board broke and I went through it.

That was not the worst part...

I got stuck IN the deck. My little brother and 8 of his friends tried to get me out. They called my dad to tell him that I got stuck in the deck. He didn't believe them at first. I got on the phone and he came right home. He had to use a crow bar to pry my fat ass out of the deck.

I had a huge bruise on my knee, but was otherwise fine. Then, my brother\'s friends mom's came to pick up their kids a few hours later. Each and every one was like, "Are you the sister that got stuck in the deck?"

Omg, so embarrassing."

Dear Rose - You look terrific now! Enjoy your night out on the town, and thanks for your funny story. :)

Since we chose Rose as a winner, here are a few more great things that have happened to her:

"I have been vending at the Whiteaker market, and next month, I will also be vending at the Coburg market. My art got into the tactile art shoe, and I got a part in a student film!"

Maybe GOOD things come in threes. Or fours. :)

CONTEST WINNER #9 - CHARMAINE!

Charmain won a $25 gift certificate to Time Out Tavern in Springfield.

Charmaine's most embarrassing moment ever?

"Easily, it was the best day of tips I had EVER made! I was in the bartending groove all shift, no split drinks, no wrong orders, no rude patrons, and my hair looked great!

I was just about done with my sidework and bent over to slide some empty bottles under the sink and noticed a long string dangling there. Without thought I pulled at it, hoping to fling it aside and forget about it. Yet, the more I pulled, the quicker it was cascading down. Until I felt a light tickle on my butt cheek. I stood up and looked around, to see that my new skirt had a HUGE problem... It simply wasnt there in the most important area! When removing the electronic alarm at the store, the lady had cut the threads right over my "target" zone & now my entire behind was visible!

I had made the best money of my life at this sleazy bar because my thong was brightly saying hi for 8 hours, and no one had said a word! "

Charmaine... just... HEEEEE! What a great story!!! :)
